It's really important when you've arrived at your key points, it's really important to express them in complete sentences. As such, my goal is to make the Virtual Writing Tutor the best ESL grammar checker to help learners of English as a Second Language. For J, this might mean beginning with a time before he and his sister were closeâ"say, when all the siblings were in the house and there wasnât much time for the two to connect. Then Josh would tell us about what changed as soon as the brother left, and in there he might find an opening anecdote. Tension, conflict, and opportunity to show growth. Josh might write a lovely reflection on how close he and his brother were, or how much he likes his little sisterâ"but that doesnât give the admissions committee much to work with. We hope the above-given information about Essay Writing in English, Essay topics, format, and tips has been useful for you to an extent. If you need more data or any assistance regarding essay writing in various languages, please reach us via the comment section below. Stay in touch with us or bookmark our site for getting more alerts & updates on these topics. Teachers should stop thinking that they have to compete with grammar checkers and view them as an assistive technology that can help reduce some of their correction load. If you are feeling afraid of losing your job to a grammar checker, you don't understand your job very well. , and second, Josh is not really telling a story. So as youâre identifying the right anecdote for your essay, make sure you have a point of tensionâ"a point where we, the reader, wonder if everything will turn out okay. Aim to use less common and academic vocabulary for your school work and IELTS essays. Learn more about academic versus conversational vocabulary. Because your topic needs to display your ability to grow, to show change over a period of time. If Josh has always had a perfect relationship with his sister, wellâ"first, no one will believe that! Now, taking your chosen topic, itâs time to outline it. Outlining works great for some people as a pre-writing tactic, and we always recommend it. For others, it can be harder than simply getting down to writing. If youâre really struggling to outline and would rather just follow the pen to a first draft, thatâs fine, but do yourself a favor and make outlining your second draft step. Providing corrective feedback on errors may be a huge part of your workload, but ask your self this. If a machine could catch all the surface errors my students make on their writing, what other aspects of my students' writing would I want to spend more time on? At some point, everyone needs an outline, but itâs your call when to do it. Letâs follow this through with Ramyaâs essay on the Patriots. The model weâll use for this essay is a five-paragraph, anecdote-driven essay. If youâve spent your summer freewriting and then carefully selecting the right essay topic, youâre now in a strong place to start writingâ"ideally at the end of July or early August.

Hult entrepreneur brings a revolutionary approach to collecting art
Highlighting the entrepreneurial success of our alumni demonstrates the mindset fostered here at Hult International Business School. As a school, we continually encourage our students to challenge the status quo and be disruptive. Im happy to be able to share stories of graduates who used their education and out-of-the-box thinking to bring their creative ideas to life. Christian Rother, a Hult Executive MBA alum, started his career in the hospitality industry. He went to Ecole Hà ´telià ¨re de Lausanne and, afterward, decided to work with Starwood in sales. After nine years in hospitality, Christian embarked on his EMBA at Hult. During his studies, he set up Smart-Collectors, where he put his knowledge and passion into practice. I caught up with Christian to have a more detailed chat about his brain-child and find out how he leveraged his experience from Hult to help bring fine art to a wider audience. Can you give us some context to your business idea? What was your inspiration? My mother has run a fine art gallery business for nearly three decades. While I studied my EMBA at Hult, I connected the dots and transferred some new business modelsââ¬âfrom the likes of Uber, Airbnb, and Expediaââ¬âto the art market. I noted that we could massively contribute to a change in the current art market by integrating some digitalization and further democratization mechanisms that are appearing in other industries. And with some motivation and confidence, which I built at Hult, I quit my job and started the new venture, backed by a local accelerator. What have you done since graduating from Hult? And what have you achieved so far? We have further developed the platform and focused big time on marketing as well as product optimization. Obviously, we are also trying to take some time out to network and find potential investors for our business idea. Despite the fact that we have only been a registered company since April 2017, we made some minor revenue in 2017 and contracted almost 10 customersââ¬âamong which, we have one Hultian friend. Weve also secured some E.U. and county-level support funds to develop our online business. We have massively invested time, effort, and money in the further development of the platform in order to grow in the online sector with our client base. How does your website work in practice? Walk me through the customer journey. Imagine youve heard theres an easy opportunity to enjoy fine art at home, with maximum flexibility. On Smart-Collectors.com, you have the chance to find artwork that fits your taste, and the potential opportunity to positively contribute to your wealth with an alternative form of investment. Smart-Collectors is your entry point to becoming a smart art collector, combining an emotional dividend with the chance of a positive monetary return. The customer journey on our platform first guides you through the benefits of a low-entry price point for high-level fine art, through renting opportunities. Fully flexible, you have the option of rental periods (3, 6, 12, or 18 months) and a current price range from â⠬500 to â⠬50,000 per artwork. Prices take both rental length and current sales price into account. Further benefits include a full deduction of paid rentals if you decide to buy after the rental period, a ââ¬Å"buy now option at the current sale price, as well as live updates of the value development of the asset. After learning about the benefits, you are invited to browse the continuously growing collection of artwork to find your perfect piece. We guide you by offering a multitude of filtering options as well as a special scoring system, giving you an indication of the status and the potential of the artist. Once you have selected your artwork, you are guided through a simple ordering process. Once ordered, the artwork is insured at no extra charge, and we personally deliver the piece to you, again at no extra cost. After the rental period finishes, you are invited to buy the artwork or simply return it. Should you buy it, you always have the opportunity of placing it on the platform again for resale. And here closes the cycle of your journey to becoming an art collector yourself. Smart-Collectors is your entry point to becoming a smart art collector, combining an emotional dividend with the chance of a positive monetary return. How do you work with artists and choose which artworks to offer? Our platform is tailored to work with artists directly as well as galleries (the artistââ¬â¢s agents). We have a curators scoring system, as mentioned above. A group of established and renowned curators provides input through the scoring model and, according to this, we decide if we can accept the artist. Furthermore, it is very important that we follow our social-impact vision, as we want to make it possible for our artists to have a stable opportunity to follow their field of expertise and continue creating great work and great culture. Hence, all monthly rentals are wired directly to the artists. The split between our Smart-Collectors margin and the artists margin follows the industry standard. We want to make it possible for our artists to continue creating great work. How can the Hult community help you? The Hult community is and can be a tremendous help byà communicatingà our services to friends and family. Thanks to a Hultian friend, we have crossed German boarders much quicker than expected and delivered to the French market. Help us spread the word, communicate any constructive feedback, and get engaged. We believe in aesthetic alternative investments like art, which is not only an investment of social impact by supporting culture and contemporary artists, but also a very rewarding investment beyond the potential monetary returns. Marlowââ¬â¢s Metamorphosis in Joseph Conrads Heart of...
Marlowââ¬â¢s Metamorphosis in Heart of Darkness Conrads novel, Heart of Darkness, relies on the historical period of imperialism to illuminate its protagonist, Charlie Marlow, and his struggle with two opposite value systems. Marlow undergoes a catharsis during his trip to the Congo and learns of the effects of imperialism. I will analyze Marlows change, which is caused by his exposure to the imperialistic nature of the historical period in which he lived. Marlow goes to the Congo River to report on Mr. Kurtz, a valuable officer, to their employer. When he sets sail, he does not know what to expect. When his journey is complete, his experiences have changed him forever. Heart of Darkness is a story of one mans journey throughâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦He addresses his comrades: When you have to attend to things of that sort, to the mere incidents of the surface, the reality--the reality I tell you---fades. But I felt it all the same; I felt often its mysterious stillness watching over me at my monkey tricks, just as it watches you fellows performing on your respective tight ropes for---what is it? half a crown a tumble . . . . (36) While he is in the Congo, although he has to concentrate on the petty everyday things like overseeing the repair of his boat, he is still aware of what is going on around him and of the horrible reality he is in. On the other hand, his friends on the boat simply do not recognize this reality. It is their ignorance and innocence which provokes them to tell Marlow to try to be civil (36). Not only are they oblivious to the reality that Marlow sees, but their naivetà © is so great that they can not even comprehend such a thing (Johnson 356). Quite surprisingly, this mentality does not pertain exclusively to the Englishmen in Europe. At one point during Marlows voyage down the Congo, he wakes to find his boat in an enormous patch of fog. At that very instant, a very loud cry is let out (41). After Marlow looks around and makes sure everything is all right, he observes the contrasts of the whites and the blacks expressions: It was very curious to

Experiential Learning in Communities for Studying- MyAssignmenthelp
Question: Discuss about theExperiential Learning in Communitiesfor Studying Alone. Answer: Learning with others enables us to educate ourselves more than studying alone.' Collaborative learning involves different perspectives and allows individuals to push each other to various limits to gain their full potential. Making it an essential way of learning which enables students to learn more together rather than alone. During the semester each student was placed in a de-briefing group in which we were then posed with a presentation. Learning together enabled us to create an informative and fruitful presentation; it was through our different perceptions. ( Grieller Georke 2010) Discuss the multi- step process to gain a great learning experience. They emphasise the importance of listening, feedback, small talk and negotiation all in which these interpersonal skills create a stable learning environment when working together rather than alone. The most significant component that turns you into a good (or not-so-reliable) hearing a small team is your body language or nontalkative language - your eye contact, gestures, posture with the orator and facial appearances. Although working together enables us to learn more than studying alone there are certain respects you need to show to your fellow team members to gain a great learning experience that will let you explore your full potential. When engaging with my fellow team members learning together was earned through mutual respect for each others understanding and perceptions this was through negotiation. (Grieller Georke 2010) Suggest that some transaction or bargaining takes place, and that the two or more people involved are equally compelling, or at least have something to offer each other. We do not use the term negotiation for a situation in which one person has power over the other. When working together, the talk was vital to gain a successful learning outcome, although our opinions would sometimes clash we would have to treat everyone with individual respect. According to (Adetoro, 2015), a researc h study was conducted in Nigeria; it was learned that the most comprehensive collaborative learning approaches that have been discovered to have stimulated greater accomplishment among scholars are Learning Together and constructive debate. According to (Terrion,2012), LT generated the most significant influences of between 0.82. It was consequently suggested that collaborative studying strategies (mainly learning together and positive debate) should always be joined with the traditional method for instructing reconciliation education feature of social studies. Once again emphasising that learning with others allows us to find out more than studying alone. Peer mentoring was another form of education in which we had to contribute in this semester, According to (Christie 2014) the past three decades we have seen the emergence of new perspectives on learning, and it is widely recognised that learning is a social, as opposed to an individual, process. Rather than being about acquiring sequential cognitive learning is a situated process where the dispositions and self-knowledge that are crucial to success are grounded in the particular institutional environments, where students come and know and understand through ongoing processes of participation and engagement (Townsend,Delves,Kidd, Figg,2011). This perspective points to a range of social practices through which students are supported to become successful learners such as peer learning, active and problem-based learning, and student mentoring. Learning together is essential as it provides different perspectives when working with my mentee this semester I was confronted with various ideo logies and understanding as we are both from different cultures and religious backgrounds. Working together allowed us both to gain cultural competence and knowledge about each others beliefs and social understandings. It not only enabled us to create a successful mentee ship but made it possible to get a great friendship overall. Another method of learning applied during the semester was by using tutorials.Tutorial teaching is an outstanding feature of the literary experience that the university gives its students. Despite an extensive assortment of tutors methods to tutorials, there are respective components that add to this distinctiveness, and these comprise of scholars meeting personally or in small groupings, with an instructor from their speciality in their university, usually weekly or once a fortnight.Learners are spending time individualistically perusing and arranging scripted work for the lesson (i.e. self- focused studying) (Terrion,2012). While scholar study periods differs extensively, it was reported that a median of 13 hours of free study for each tutorial.Students are deliberating their pinned job with the instructor, thus improving their verbal communiquabilities and providing them with an opening to have constant criticism (i.e. formative evaluation) from their lecturers (Townsend,Delves,Ki dd, Figg,2011).Tutorials are usually meant first to assist students to get an innate perception of the topic in their speciality, holding discussions while in tutorials supports learners to realise the importance and insinuations of their wisdom, so they may utilise what they have studied in further situations; learners must also acquire a wholesome scepticism on the information. It also makes it possible for scholars to learn how to reason, for example, to amalgamate different sources, to articulate a proposal and defend it, to foresee critiques of their cases, and to reply to challenges and questions, reasoning 'on ones feet' in the tutorial situation.Develop learners basic learning abilities (e.g. evaluation and identification of relevant sources, efficient communication both writing and verbally, adequate time- administration, analytical self-evaluation) (Christie 2014). It also allows learners to follow their personal, academic concentrations in the framework of their speciali ty. Then it can develop student's capability to act and reason as an expert in their field, like a mathematician, classist, scientist, historian, somewhat like a pupil completing a syllabus in those areas of speciality (Rao,Chanock, Krishnan,2007).Whether teaching in a tutorial, seminar or a problem-based lecture or setting learners and continuing group assignment over an interval of some weeks, the small group instruction setting gives one the chance to give and receive immediate comment. It permits more hands-on duties to allow the scholastic learning occurrence and provides you with the opportunity to inspire and develop student assurance. Students profit from the small group setting by a much- appreciated interaction with you on a more personal level in the larger situation of the academic society. Tutorial and seminar periods permit scholars to converge with small cliques of peers or concentrate on the likely use of their findings in problem-based sessions and project jobs (Kol b,2015). This setting allows you to customise your instruction centred on the instant responses of your learners. You may more willingly endure you comprehend particular student requirements and needs.Small group instruction permits the free education experience to approach to the front of the lesson. It also aids scholars to build communication capabilities by group exhibitions, participation in class and other jobs. This method was applied when we were being instructed in class as students in our groups approached the lecturer and organised regular sessions for the group to be told on some tutorials for the class. It ensured that the team members had a full understanding of the subject matter they are on (Rao,Chanock, Krishnan,2007). The next mode of teaching applied here was by lectures. One way to transform the tempo in your lecture hall is to perform a small group action. But what kind of tiny group can you utilise? It is determined by the capacity of your class, the span of time you have open, the physical characteristics of the lecture hall, and the type of thegroup activity. There are different types of groups that can be applied in lectures so as to make it interesting for both the lecturer and students. The first being buzz groups, which involves students participating in little, casual deliberation, often in answer to a particular sentence sample or query. At a median interval in the class, have learners turn to 1-3 neighbours to debate any challenges in perception, answer a prepared inquiry, describe or give instances of key ideas, or contemplate on what will occur next in the lecture. The best deliberations are one's in which pupils make decisions concerning the similar qualities, significance, or pract icality of any part of the conference(Christie 2014). Then there are jigsaw groups which area policy that involves scholars being experts on one part of a subject, then giving out their knowledge with others. Then there is the fishbowl; this technique involves one group watching another team as they tackle a given task. Learning teams is also another one which is where learners are split into groups at the commencing of the semester. When you want to integrate small group debate or collaboration into your lecture, you guide the learners to get into these term-long studying groups. Finally is the think-pair-share grouping, this approach has three steps. First, scholars think personally about a specific query or situation. Then they group up to deliberate and evaluate their opinions. Lastly, they are offered the opportunity to share their impressions in a large class analysis. It was also applied by the lecturer this semester, and thus the instructor was able to make the class fun and exciting. By taking this on, we had the ability to learn in groups through various means and at the same time benefiting significantly (Wilson, Conyers,2013). References Adetoro, R. (2015). Jared Gibb Essays (374 words) - , Term Papers
